This Thanksgiving, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner reminded everyone that gratitude is best expressed through giving back. The former Hollywood power couple, joined by their three children—Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12—volunteered at Los Angeles’ Midnight Mission to serve meals to the homeless community. The family embraced the holiday spirit by helping out at the non-profit’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair, an event dedicated to providing meals, support, and a sense of connection to thousands of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Skid Row. The gathering also featured live entertainment, spreading warmth and cheer throughout the day.

Affleck and Garner, seen smiling and chatting as they worked, donned matching white aprons while their children eagerly participated in serving meals. The family’s dedication didn’t go unnoticed, with the Midnight Mission sharing a heartfelt message on social media, expressing gratitude for their kindness and highlighting how their presence brought joy to the community. Their actions resonated deeply, embodying the true spirit of Thanksgiving—compassion, generosity, and unity.

This isn’t Affleck’s first time supporting The Midnight Mission. He first became involved with the organization through a connection at his children’s school, and has remained a committed supporter ever since. Reflecting on his experience in a previous interview, Affleck shared how giving even a little time or effort can create meaningful change, not only for others but for oneself. His words emphasized the importance of stepping up for those in need, no matter how small the gesture may seem.

Despite being in the midst of filming his upcoming project with longtime friend Matt Damon, Affleck prioritized spending the holiday with his family and engaging in philanthropy. Garner, known for her advocacy and hands-on involvement in charitable causes, seamlessly extended her commitment to making a difference. For Affleck, this Thanksgiving carried additional significance, marking his first since Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce earlier this year. Even amid personal challenges, his focus on family and giving back remains unwavering.

Their actions offer a powerful reminder that even small contributions can create ripples of hope for those facing hardships. As The Midnight Mission aptly states, “It’s easy to feel like there’s nothing you can do, but even a little bit can make a world of difference.” This Thanksgiving, the Affleck-Garner family demonstrated how true that sentiment is.
