Taylor Swift reacted separately on the horrific stabbing at the children’s dance class in Southport, U. K that involved her songs. Two children unfortunately perished while the rest were injured. Also, the Royal Family quoted condolences and shock.
The 34-year-old singer took to her Insta-Story on Tuesday, July 30 to give her side of the story. Taylor Swift responded to a terrible incidence that occurred at a children’s dancing lesson in Southport, United Kingdom, on Monday. They were using her music when the mass stabbing was carried out.
She wrote, “The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock.” She added, “The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class.”
Swift continued, “I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”
In the attack at the dance school, two children were killed with 9 others being left severely injured. Out of all the children that got injured, six of them were in a critical condition. Two adults were also seriously injured probably when they attempted to shield the children.
A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder with a knife seized by authorities, according to police.
The police drew attention to the fact that “at present it is not a terror case and we are not searching for anyone connected with It”.
There was also a reaction of the Royal Family to this event. For instance, King Charles III and Queen Camilla posted their emotions and messages of condolence on the social processing sites. This is what King Charles said, “My wife and I have been profoundly shocked to hear of the utterly horrific incident in Southport today. We send our most heartfelt condolences, prayers, and deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones of those who have so tragically lost their lives, and to all those affected by this truly appalling attack.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton also tweeted on X stating that they cannot even start to fathom what the families, friends and loved ones of the people that lost their lives and got injured in Southport today must be going through, they said they are sending love, thought, prayer for all the families and friends involved and concerned in this awful and brutal incident and also thanked the first responders and said that they showed a lot
