Wendy Williams has once again sparked controversy, this time addressing Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing legal troubles. During an interview on The Breakfast Club Thursday morning, the outspoken former talk show host shared her thoughts, leaving no room for subtlety.
“Diddy will go to prison for life, people,” Williams said as she wrapped up her call. “You don’t know the things that I know about Diddy back in the day.” She added, “You know what? It’s about time, people. It is about time. Diddy done.”
The music mogul’s legal team has yet to respond to these comments.

Diddy’s Legal Challenges
Combs, 55, was arrested in September 2024 in New York City on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all allegations but remains behind bars at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, with bail requests repeatedly denied.
The case has reignited public scrutiny of Combs’ past behavior, with Williams’ remarks adding fuel to the fire.
Wendy and Diddy’s Rocky History
Williams’ pointed criticism of Diddy is rooted in their long and complicated history. In her 2004 memoir, The Wendy Williams Experience, she accused the music executive of trying to sabotage her career after she was fired from her Hot 97 radio job in 1998.

“The hell he put me through. I will never forget,” Williams wrote. “But I don’t hate him.”
Despite their past feuds, Diddy appeared on The Wendy Williams Show in 2017, a moment Williams described as “full-circle.” Still, tensions lingered, with Wendy maintaining her signature sharp commentary.

Resurfaced Clips and Cassie’s Allegations
A resurfaced 2015 clip from Williams’ show has also drawn attention, in which she questioned Combs’ allegedly controlling behavior toward his former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura.
“My thing about when you date a mogul is that it’s really difficult to avoid them, because if you use your head, you never know when they’re going to pop up on the scene,” Williams said in the clip. “He’s a mogul! Like, he can hire a plane right now, zoom it to South Africa, land on the roof of the hotel where she’s staying, pay people off at the front desk, ‘Give me the key and let me up in her room.’” She noted that such behavior would leave her feeling “paranoid.”
Cassie, now 38, filed a lawsuit against Combs in November 2023, accusing him of rape and abuse. The case was settled within 24 hours for an undisclosed amount. The two were in an on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.
Wendy Speaks Out About Her Own Life
During the interview, Williams also shared details about her current struggles. She compared her situation to being “trapped” in a “prison” and denied rumors of cognitive issues.

“I am definitely isolated,” she revealed. “I sit here, and my life goes by.”
Since 2022, Williams has been under a court-ordered guardianship, which she has openly expressed frustration about.
As always, Wendy Williams’ outspoken nature keeps her in the spotlight, and her comments about Diddy are sure to stir further discussion about the controversial music mogul.
